IM Injections for PCP Paramedics

Recently the EMALB approved Creative Paramedical Education’s IM Injection course for the removal of all IM restrictions.

Upon completion, PCP paramedics can remove their current IM Injection restrictions on their license. This will allow them to follow BCAS Treatment Guidelines and administer Epinephrine according to the latest American Heart Association recommendations. Currently when faced with severe Anaphylactic shock, PCP paramedics may only administer Epinephrine by the subcutaneous route which delays the onset of the drugs action. The EMA Licensing Board has approved this course for 5 CE Credits. This course consists of a short pre-read and a 4 hour classroom session.

There are no currently scheduled classroom sessions. Please contact us if you are interested in arranging a classroom session.
